Privacy notice

What this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Last updated September 22, 2026

This notice covers deeplit.ai, the website. It does not cover a deeplit® deployment you run: on deeplit® Private and deeplit® Cloud the data is yours and the terms are in your agreement with us, where we act on your instructions and never on our own.

1. Who we are

deeplit® is a company registered in the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce number 94761000, at Molengraaffsingel 12, 2629 JD Delft. For anything you do on this website, we decide why and how your data is used, which makes us the controller.

2. When you write to us

The contact form does not send anything to a server of ours. It opens a message in your own mail client, addressed to us, and you press send. We then hold that e-mail the way we hold any e-mail.

We use what you write to answer you and, if it goes that way, to scope a deployment. The basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and the steps taken before a contract at your request.

We keep the correspondence while the conversation is live and afterwards for as long as our records and tax obligations require, then delete it.

3. When you apply for a job

Applications reach us by e-mail at the address on our contact page. We read what you send, we discuss it inside the team, and we keep it for the role you applied to. If we would like to keep it for a later opening, we ask you first.

4. What analytics measures

The site loads Google Analytics 4 in production. It records the page you opened, where you arrived from, and the kind of device and approximate region derived from your IP address, which it does not store. It does not know your name, and we never send it what you type into the form.

The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read, and it sets cookies, which the cookie notice lists. Google acts as our processor here and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. What the server sees

Every request to a website carries technical data: an IP address, a browser and a timestamp. Our hosting provider processes that to deliver the site and to keep it available and secure, and we do not build profiles from it.

Type is self-hosted with the site, so opening a page does not call a font service or any other third party.

6. Who else sees your data

We do not sell anything, we run no advertising, and we share nothing for someone else's purposes. The only parties that process data on our behalf are the ones this notice names, under contracts that bind them to our instructions.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to processing we base on a legitimate interest. Write to us and we will act on it.

If you believe we have it wrong, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority where you live.

8. Changes to this notice

When what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top says when. There is no separate archive: the current version is the one that applies.

Questions about this notice
